Artist's Statement

I am fortunate to have lived all my life in a beautiful landscape that I have loved. I desire with all my heart to reflect this in an exquisite painterly manner. I wish to make jewels of the mountains to sparkle and shine with new copper, gold and silver metallic oil paint. My art is a means of self-expression which soothe the senses and psyche. Ultimately to acknowledge truth and beauty of the earth and within one’s own nature; to feel for the face of God in a mortal, manipulative materialistic age.
